Whether engaging in social interactions one-on-one or developing business relationships in front of an audience, judgements are made not only on what you say but how you say it. Our voices are our primary means of communication and yet many of us don’t know how to use our voices correctly or efficiently. We are born with naturally free voices but, over time, habits are formed which prevent us from reaching our full vocal potential. Tension and stress lead to tight, restricted voices, many of us clamping down on our throats and speaking in an unsupported manner. Learning how our voices work and how to achieve maximum vocal freedom results in free, rich voices which, in turn, develops into clearer thought processing, freedom of expression, improved self confidence and overall empowerment.

A graduate of the Ensemble Acting Studios in Sydney, I also hold a BA degree in Linguistics and Performance Studies from the University of Sydney. In addition to my years of performing, I have also spent many years working in the corporate sector and understand the need for business professionals to be able to communicate in a clear and dynamic way. In creating Voice in Motion, I set out to develop a daily voice practice that implements the exercises and techniques that I have learnt from my voice studies with the goal of making voice training accessible to everybody. I would love to work with you to help you discover your true voice.
